Seka Hills

The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation located in Brooks, California manufactures and distributes a line of premium specialty Tribal products under the Seka Hills brand. While participating in FOODEX Japan trade show held March 2018, Seka Hills olive oil and wine was promoted to the specialty food trade. Along with product presentations, Seka Hills offered sampling of the premium olive oil to attendees at the show. From the exposure provided at the tradeshow in the Intertribal Agriculture booth, Seka Hills was able to expand their reach to the Japanese importers, retailers and food service operations. Due to the MAP funding provided for IAC participation at FOODEX, Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation was able to develop long term relationships which originated in immediate and short-term sales of their olive oil.
